I decided to be a part of Glad You Asked because I had questions. The Christian friends I did Glad You Asked with didn’t force me to believe—they were simply there for me unconditionally, no matter who I was or what I believed. No question I asked was too silly, and they never lost their patience with me.
At the beginning, my friends helped me to find ground under my feet regardless of my belief. They helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel and showed me that every cloud—and my cloud seemed to be extremely dark—that every cloud has a silver lining. Later they helped me to find out that this silver lining has a name. The impact on my spiritual life was a new life with Jesus. My life didn't become easier. But now I know I will never walk alone.
My experience of Glad You Asked was that ‘I was never alone’ with my questions. There was always somebody there, especially in those moments when I feared getting totally lost. They were there for me, even when I could not believe at all.
