‘Glad You Asked was an amazing experience… The best thing about our group was the atmosphere where everybody was accepted as they were with all the thoughts, doubts, and faults they had…’

It all started when my brother came back from America as a Christian. We often had discussions about faith. Actually, we had arguments and I rejected his new ‘life-style’. One day he asked me if I would like to come to Glad You Asked. He told me that we’ll just discuss spiritual questions. I thought that it might be interesting and couldn't be too bad.

Glad You Asked was an amazing experience. Initially, I was really skeptical about the group but soon I realised that it was a place where you can very openly say what you think and believe. The group grew together step by step. We had dinner together—it was very important because it was like a warm-up and we could get to know each other. We had a great time together and after a short time, it was unthinkable not to go to the meetings.

The best thing about our group was the atmosphere where everybody was accepted as they were with all the thoughts, doubts, and faults they had. In this place, I got to know God. Every time we met, I felt such a peace that I (and the whole group) were really sad when we finished.

Because of Glad You Asked, I accepted Jesus as my Saviour and friend. It all started with this group.
